Gorgeous minerals that I select that do not fall squarely into one of the other color families, or that prominently manifest more than one of them will be included here. In this group more than in any other, effulgent variety is the defining characteristic. Many of my favorite mineral species are found here and each is chosen from thousands of specimens for its particular aesthetic qualities.
