This piece features the sumptuous cool mint and deep chocolate brown hues of a regal butterfly known as the Forest Queen. This beautiful butterfly comes from a very small genus of only six members: Euxanthe.
They are found in forested areas of eastern Africa near the coast where sunlight is plentiful. Just as these two species share the same range, they also perfectly complement each other visually.
